✨ A Story of Unspoken Words and Unbreakable Bonds ✨
ABOUT THE BOOK
Embracing the Silence is not just a memoir—it's a mirror for every parent navigating the quiet, often isolating world of raising a neurodivergent child. In this deeply moving book, Dr. Lissarette Nisnevich opens the door to her private reality as the mother of a non-speaking autistic son. From professional triumphs to personal grief, and from the noise of the world to the quiet power of unconditional love, this book weaves poetry, prose, and raw reflection into a tapestry of resilience.
IT IS A JOURNEY THROUGH

Diagnosis and denial

The unraveling of a marriage

The weight of isolation during the pandemic

The decision to close her schools

And the rebirth of purpose by the sea
This is a book for parents, educators, clinicians—and anyone who has ever had to redefine what love looks like.
